A large and well-regarded primary school in the L13 area is seeking to appoint an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) on a fixed-term contract beginning in September 2025, running for the full academic year. There is potential for the position to become permanent.
The successful candidate will provide PPA cover and support during staff absences across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Therefore, experience in working across both key stages is highly desirable.
The school is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and is widely respected within the local and wider community. As a larger-than-average primary school, it offers a wealth of professional development opportunities for ambitious staff members. Its inclusive and welcoming ethos is guided by a clear set of values, and the ideal candidate will be someone who consistently upholds and promotes these values in their practice.
This role would suit a qualified HLTA (or equivalent) or possibly an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain further experience in primary education before moving into a full teaching post.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
