Manufacturing Operator

Pay rate: £17.93 per hour
Contract: 9 months
Full time - Monday to Friday (Nightshift)
Join a team behind a world leading scientific company serving science solutions. As a Manufacturing Operator, you'll be carrying out the production process which involves following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Institution Documents and blueprints/drawings, handling materials and equipment operation.
Manufacturing Operator Shifts:
* Monday to Friday
* 22:00 - 06:00
Manufacturing Operator Responsibilities:
* Follow manufacturing SOPs, complete production floor paperwork required by the quality system and record information such as weight, time and date packaged.
* Assist with validation of equipment
* Read and understand work orders to successfully set up material on production line, and verify the amounts required as per work order.
* Inspect material, products and containers at each set up of production process
* Wrap protective material around products, weigh containers and adjust quantities, close, seal and label containers.
* Line Clearance - responsible to reconciliation and disposal of materials related to the job.
* Clean and sanitize work areas, machines, glassware or equipment as needed.
Manufacturing Operator Required Skills:
* Experience working within a lab/manufacturing environment
* Must have a keen eye for detail and quality control
* Must be proficient in Microsoft packages and manufacturing systems.
* Be able to work at a fast pace whilst maintaining communication, health, safety and quality standards.
