Hours of work: casual, as and when required
Pay Rate: $26.94 - $29.10 per hour - subject to completed caregiving qualification

About the Role
Provide exceptional care to our residents under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families. Work closely with a team to implement our individual care plans. Full training provided.
Some Duties include but not limited to:
* Undertaking personal cares, while encouraging residents to make decisions that promote independence
* Promptly completing delegated tasks in a timely manner
* Responding quickly to resident requests, providing them with useful, relevant information
* Maintaining and updating resident healthcare records
* Assisting with handover of residents at shift changes
* Career progression + assistance with Careerforce and NZQA qualifications

Skills and Experience
* New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 3 (or equivalent) and 3 years of relevant experience; OR New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 4 (or equivalent).
* Dementia and hospital-level care experience required
* Flexibility to work on a rostered shift basis
* People skills with empathy for the elderly and their families
* Good written and verbal communication skills
