Accept Recruitment are looking for a skilled Laser Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in setting and operating flat bed lasers. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running/overseeing of two machines and ensuring production standards. The Client is a family business which has been running for over 50 years in Coventry. Hours are 8 am- 4:30 pm Monday to Friday Permanent position (with a 2-month probation period) Role and Responsibilities Operating 2 flatbed lasers in a fast-paced environment. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Work alongside team members to improve production processes and efficiency. Organise workload to ensure that production delays are minimised. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Ideal Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of Trumpf flatbed lasers. Knowledge of beam centring, lens cleaning and fault-finding diagnosis. Knowledge of how to conduct basic maintenance on the machines. Experience in the using slat cleaners. Critical thinking to solve issues in the production line. Experience using machinery effectively and safely. Reliability and good team working skills. Good time management. Forklift experience is ideal Experience and Qualifications It is essential that you have previous experience of running flatbed lasers. Apprenticeship trained in a relevant field or time served. Experience of working in a production led environment.
