Purpose of Position
As a warehouse manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day site management of the DPD Logistics operation.
Key Task & Responsibilities:-
1. Achieving Logistics department objectives in terms of productivity Health & Safety and Quality
2. Deliver outstanding service to our customers with a team driven to be the best they can be
3. Provide the safest and healthiest environment in which your teams work
4. Encourage a competitive environment with clearly set productivity and service level targets for your teams
5. Manage the department through effective planning, reporting and cost control
6. Focus on customer needs and satisfaction
7. Sets high standards for quality and quantity
8. Monitors and maintains quality and productivity
9. Establishes good relationships with external suppliers, customers and staff
10. Builds wide and effective networks of contacts inside and outside the organisation

Qualifications
What we’re looking for
24. Experience in the logistics or distribution industry and proven ability in running large, fast paced, 24/7 operations with responsibility for a significant number of staff
25. You will be a confident communicator/presenter with the skills to lead and manage teams as well as influence strategy and liaise with our Senior Leaders
26. A person capable of decisive and effective decision-making, in a time pressured environment
27. A passion for building and motivating high-performing teams
28. Someone that really enjoys resolving problems and demonstrates high levels of resilience, self-motivation and flexibility.
