Key Responsibilities
* Lead engaging learning sessions across various primary year groups, following teacher-led plans
* Provide focused support to pupils with additional needs, including SEND and EAL
* Take charge of whole-class teaching during teacher absence or PPA cover
* Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
* Monitor pupil progress using a variety of assessment tools and adjust support as needed
* Build strong relationships with students, staff, and families to support wellbeing and achievement
* Participate in school-wide activities, clubs, and enrichment programmes
What We’re Looking For
* HLTA qualification or currently working towards it (desirable but not essential)
* Proven experience in a primary school across different key stages
* A patient, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning
* Strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practices
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A proactive attitude towards professional development and school involvement
