Job overview

Within the Children's Outpatient's department we really value our staff, all staff play an important role in the day to day running of our clinical services making sure that patient care is at the forefront of all we do.

This post will support the Children's Outpatient Clinic located at Royal Preston Hospital working with our booking team and on our main reception.

You will be required to submit evidence of your qualifications for this position. If your qualifications were obtained overseas, please ensure that you acquire a Statement of Comparability from UK ENIC to facilitate a clear understanding of how your qualifications align with UK standards. Main duties of the job

There’s no doubt, in order to make a difference for the patients we serve at Chorley and Preston Hospitals, we need great people providing dedicated support behind the scenes, and the value that your ‘support’ will bring cannot be underestimated. We rely on our administrative team to support across our division and you will be joining a team that is working hard to transform the way we provide face to face and all other means of patient administrative contact services. Detailed job description and main responsibilities

You will have excellent communication skills and who loves to interact with patients to ensure that our patients receive the best patient experience. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn about the Trust's outpatient appointment booking processes and the systems that support this function, specifically the National Spine, Flex and BI Portal.

Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clinicians, managers and others within the Specialty Business Unit and with trust wide service users.
