Our client is an innovative and growing financial services organisation focused on providing exceptional service and safeguarding client wealth. They are seeking an Operational Resilience & Incident Manager to ensure the organisation can anticipate, withstand, respond to, and recover from operational disruptions.


This pivotal role involves leading resilience testing, managing real-time operational incidents, and maintaining governance frameworks to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence.


What You’ll Do


Operational Resilience & Testing


* Conduct regular resilience testing, including scenario-based exercises and simulations.
* Assess critical business services and their dependencies, ensuring robust impact tolerances.
* Collaborate with technology and business teams to embed resilience into operational processes.


Incident Management


* Lead and coordinate real-time response efforts for operational incidents, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
* Develop and maintain incident response plans aligned with industry best practices.
* Drive post-incident reviews, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.


Business Continuity & Governance


* Keep business continuity plans current, reflecting the evolving operational environment.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including operational resilience frameworks.
* Maintain and enhance governance documentation, policies, and reporting structures.


Requirements


* Proven experience in Operational Resilience, Incident Management, or Business Continuity within financial services; experience in scale-ups or fintech is advantageous.
* Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as PRA, FCA, DORA, NIST, or ISO 22301.
* Experience in incident response, crisis management, and resilience testing methodologies.
* Familiarity with modern banking technologies, cloud infrastructure, and digital services.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical teams.
