Responsibilities
This role is considered a Regulated Role with Children under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020, requiring membership with the PVG scheme. Preferred applicants will need to join the scheme or undergo an update check before a formal offer is made.
The employment is excepted from section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975, meaning applicants must disclose all convictions, including spent ones. Failure to do so may result in dismissal or disciplinary action.
