Your Next Opportunity
We’re currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join our dedicated team. Working closely with our senior chefs, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly and to the highest hygiene standards. It’s more than just cleaning – it’s about helping to create a seamless experience our guests will remember.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Operating and maintaining dishwashing equipment correctly and efficiently
* Keeping the dishwashing area spotless, tidy, and hygienic at all times
* Pre-soaking, washing, and sanitising kitchenware and utensils to the required standards
* Ensuring all clean items are returned to their correct places
* Supporting kitchen hygiene and cleanliness across all food prep and storage areas
* Carrying out cleaning tasks, including mopping floors and sanitising surfaces
* Disposing of waste properly and keeping bins clean and organised
* Reporting any equipment or maintenance issues to the Head Chef promptly
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting (advantageous but not essential)
* A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work as part of a team
* Reliable, punctual, and proactive with a strong eye for detail
* High standards of personal grooming and presentation
* A passion for cleanliness, organisation, and supporting others
