Semi Senior / Senior Accountant – Practice
Epsom | Hybrid Working | Flexi-Time
We are currently working with a modern, tech-driven accountancy firm in Epsom that is looking to add a Semi Senior / Senior Accountant to their growing team.
The firm has been expanding rapidly, achieving around 25% growth year-on-year, and they are now looking for a motivated accountant who wants to develop their career within a progressive and supportive practice environment.

The Role
You’ll be working closely with a varied portfolio of clients, providing high-quality accounting and advisory services while building strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing personal and corporate tax returns and statutory accounts
* Producing monthly management accounts including KPIs and analysis
* Managing bookkeeping duties
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns
* Supporting payroll processing
* Mentoring and coaching junior staff members
* Providing general advisory support to clients
Who we are looking for:
Ideally you will have:
* At least 2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
* Strong bookkeeping and financial reporting skills
* Experience managing client relationships
* Experience using Xero
Desirable experience:
• Managing a client portfolio
• Training or mentoring junior staff
• Fee negotiation experience
• Team leadership
