SEND Teacher – Shropshire

Salary: £130–£200 per day

We are working with a specialist SEND school in Shropshire that is seeking a compassionate and adaptable teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an educator with a genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, physical disabilities, and moderate to severe learning difficulties.
This is a full-time classroom-based role, with a strong support team and excellent facilities tailored to SEND education. You’ll play a key role in helping pupils thrive both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of learners with SEND
* Create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider school staff
* Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and adapt strategies where required
* Follow school policies around safeguarding, behaviour, and assessment
* Build strong relationships with pupils, fostering confidence and progress
Essential Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* A strong understanding of SEND and inclusive teaching practices
* Experience supporting children with additional needs in a classroom setting
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A calm, flexible, and patient approach to teaching
* Understanding of current safeguarding requirements and procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
