Salary:
Unqualified: Starting at £27,781.80 per annum, with potential earnings up to £31,039.08 including sleep-in shifts.
Qualified: Starting at £28,719.60 per annum, with potential earnings up to £31,976.88 including sleep-in shifts.
(Qualified Care Worker salary is based on the proven completion of a Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare)

Your Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the lives of our young people. We are looking for individuals who are strong, committed, and passionate about making a difference. You will be a role model, a listening ear, and a source of inspiration, helping to create happy memories and fun experiences.
Main Duties
Your daily responsibilities will vary based on whether it’s term-time or holiday periods, but here’s a glimpse of what you’ll be doing:
* Support daily routines, including personal hygiene, meals, and activities.
* Encourage life skills and independence through room cleaning and socialization.
* Attend medical and other appointments.
* Implement activity plans and assist with daily paperwork.
* Manage budgeting and shopping needs, including meal prep and kitchen hygiene.
* Build relationships with families and plan special occasions.
As a Keyworker, you will have the privilege of building strong bonds with our boys, creating special occasions, and showing genuine care and empathy.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following:
* Flexibility for sleep-in nights and 14-hour shifts (typically 2 days on, 2 days off).
* An understanding of the challenges faced by young people in care.
* A relevant qualification (e.g., Residential Childcare Diploma) or a willingness to pursue one.
* Excellent communication and listening skills.
* A collaborative spirit to work effectively within a small team.
* A full, clean UK driving license.
* Experience in Emotional Behavioural Disorder, Social/Residential Work, or Youth Work is a plus.
