The role

Whilst St Matthew’s is one of the largest primary schools in Luton, it has a calm, personal and happy atmosphere. We are a big school with small community habits and pride ourselves on everyone’s personal, academic and professional well-being and this is a cornerstone of our ethos. Responsibilities and qualifications

  • Have experience of administration systems possibly within a school environment
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Understand the need for high levels of confidentiality, discretion and integrity in the school environment
  • Demonstrate professionalism and accuracy in all aspects of the role
  • Have the ability to build productive and collaborative relationships
  • Have excellent IT skills
  • Be organised, have excellent attention to detail and be able to work to competing deadlines
  • Understand the need for a culture of safeguarding in all aspects of school business
  • Be versatile, flexible, forward thinking and be a great team player

This role is 37 hours a week, term time plus INSET days.
