On offer for our ecologist: * Competitive salary £28,000 - £35,000) * Full training and support * Wide range of wildlife projects * Flexible benefits package * Generous pension * Fulfilling work * Involvement of protecting / rehoming endangered species What's involved with this ecologist Role: * Writing Biodiversity Net Gain strategies * Protecting species and re-homing protected species * Collecting high-quality field data and supporting reporting tasks * Working on sites across Derby and the surrounding areas * Supporting senior ecologists with project delivery during peak season * Writing technical reports To be considered for this seasonal ecologist position: * A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field * Experience in ecological consultancy as an Ecologist or Senior Ecologist * Strong technical field skills and ideally one protected species licence (e.g. bats, great crested newts) * In-depth knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy is advantageous * Located in or near Nottingham This ecologist role will be in high demand, if you think you meet this criteria and are interested, apply right away!
