Be among the first 25 applicants. Pharmacy Technicians, are you ready for a change or to try something new? The Pharmacy Team have a fixed term vacancy within the Wigtownshire Cluster. We are looking for a motivated, proactive and enthusiastic registered pharmacy technician to work within our Pharmacy Hubs and GP practices. Our friendly team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy support workers make up the GP practice clinical pharmacy service, taking a leading role in medicines management and medication review as part of the primary care multidisciplinary team. It is a rewarding role, helping patients in Dumfries and Galloway to safely manage their medicines.
Fixed Term Details
* 9‑month contract from 23 01 2026 to 23 10 2026.
Responsibilities
* Provide a clinical pharmacy service directly to patients.
* Medicine reconciliation, medication reviews with patients.
* Deal with medicines‑related queries and assess patients' ability to manage their medicines, including in the patient’s home.
* Joint working with GP practice staff and multidisciplinary teams within local hospitals, community pharmacies and home teams.
