🎯 The Role
Reporting directly to the CMO, this person will lead the marketing strategy across three distinct business units. You’ll define the vision, develop a cohesive trading and brand calendar, and inspire a high-performing team of circa 20 people to deliver powerful, insight-led campaigns.
From hero trading moments like major sporting events and student seasons to long-term brand and customer strategy — this is a hands-on, commercially accountable leadership role where you'll make a real mark.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
* Own and deliver an integrated marketing strategy across multiple formats and customer profiles
* Shift the focus from reactive campaigns to proactive, insight-led planning
* Lead a team of circa 20, fostering creativity, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration
* Partner closely with operational leadership to embed marketing in the heart of trading decisions
* Manage a significant marketing budget

We’re looking for an experienced senior marketer who thrives in dynamic, complex environments. You’ll bring:
* Multi-site marketing leadership experience (retail, leisure entertainment venues, QSR or similar) This is non-negotiable - you will not be selected to go forward without significant experience in this area.
* Proven ability to drive footfall, revenue and brand through commercially focused campaigns
* A natural coach and team builder, used to leading large and multidisciplinary teams
* Confidence working cross-functionally, with high EQ and stakeholder savvy
* Strategic thinking with a bias for action — someone who rolls up their sleeves
* A challenger mindset and strong instinct for guest-first thinking
