CDE Group is seeking a Business Systems Engineer to focus on ERP, CRM, and general business systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for 2nd and 3rd line support of the existing ERP system and the preparation, implementation, and supporting of technical requirements for the ERP, CRM, and other Business Systems.
The role is based in Northern Ireland with time split between the Cookstown HQ office and Monkstown manufacturing facility, but may require some travel given the global profile of the work.
Job Description
The successful candidate will work closely with the Business Systems Manager to deliver technical requirements, testing, documentation, and user training for Business Systems Roadmap projects. They will develop and document 1st Line standard processes for the CDE Service Desk team and provide 2nd and 3rd line support to the ERP, CRM, and other business systems and supporting technologies.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Business Systems Manager to deliver technical requirements, testing, documentation, and user training for Business Systems Roadmap projects.
* Develop and document 1st Line standard processes for the CDE Service Desk team.
* Provide 2nd and 3rd line support to the ERP, CRM, and other business systems and supporting technologies.
* Provide and implement technical requirements for ERP, including data migration, permission sets, custom objects, reports, lobbies, profiles, crystal report writing, business analytics reports, and Power BI reports.
* Author and maintain system and user documentation.
* Define high and low-level process flows and convert them into solutions.
* Work effectively in an ITIL environment, ensuring application configuration control, deployment practices, and change management processes are adhered to.
* Work closely with external contractors, suppliers, other system technical team members, and the project team to ensure requirements are met.
* Work as part of the team on the full life cycle of the ERP system and related systems.
* Manage PLSQL requirements in the business, including interfacing with third-party systems.
* Provide training, mentoring, and documentation to team members and across CDE.
Requirements
* 2.1 or above Computing-related degree or 2+ years of relevant experience.
* Completed modules in Database Management, including SQL Queries.
* Competent in writing Excel functions and formulas at an advanced level.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Able to work well as part of a team and under own initiative.
* Very organized, innovative, and inquisitive individual with an eye for detail and strong analytic skills.
* Strong communication skills and a creative and innovative approach to the role.
* Clean current driving license and willingness to undertake travel, work overtime, and weekends if required.
Desired Criteria
* Experience with large and complex datasets or database experience.
* Experience writing SQL Queries.
* Experience with data modeling and relationship modeling.
* Experience creating dashboards and reports using Business Intelligence Software (such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView/Qlik Sense, Reporting Services, etc.).
