Southern Housing is investing in the growth of our rent capability, and we're looking for a Rent Team Co‑ordinator who gets genuine satisfaction from accuracy, compliance, and making complex financial processes work seamlessly for residents. This is a role where your attention to detail has a direct impact on fairness, affordability, and trust. You'll take ownership of the critical tenancy‑related financial functions that keep our organisation compliant and our services transparent from leading rent reviews across all tenures, setting initial and re‑let rents, and maintaining fair rent registrations, to ensuring every figure aligns with legislation, policy, and best practice. If you enjoy getting into the detail and understanding the bigger picture, this role offers both. Working closely with colleagues across Finance, Housing and IT, you'll safeguard the integrity of rent‑related data, improve systems and processes, and bring clarity to areas that really matter. A key part of this role includes leading a focused programme of work around Fair Rent properties reviewing, reconciling and registering historic and current data to ensure our records are robust, auditable, and fully compliant with regulatory requirements. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who thrives in a role that combines analytical thinking, structured project work, and real organisational impact. Your work won't just sit in spreadsheets it will shape how we deliver services, support residents, and future‑proof our rent governance. This role is based at our Sittingbourne office, with hybrid working available where appropriate and agreed with your manager. You'll attend your main office at least two days per week, with occasional travel to other Southern Housing offices for stakeholder meetings.
