About the Role
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant (TA), you ll play a vital role in supporting students and teachers alike. You ll work closely with educators to deliver tailored support, both one-on-one and in small groups, helping students overcome challenges and thrive in their learning. From preparing engaging resources to contributing to classroom activities and monitoring progress, your role will be varied, rewarding, and full of opportunities to grow.
Key Responsibilities of Level 3 Teaching Assistant (TA)
* Collaborate with teachers to design and implement personalised learning plans.
* Deliver targeted interventions to support academic and social development.
* Promote effective study habits and positive behaviour through modelling and encouragement.
* Assist in creating an inclusive and respectful classroom environment.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate updates to staff and families.
* Work with external professionals to ensure holistic support for students.
Requirements for Level 3 Teaching Assistant (TA)
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
* Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting.
* A genuine passion for helping students succeed.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
* Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
