A welcoming Primary School in Malvern is seeking a confident and experienced Reception Teacher to join their team from May until July, on a full-time basis. This Reception Teacher role is ideal for a practitioner with strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and the confidence to lead a class independently. This position does not require planning, allowing you to focus on delivering engaging lessons and supporting children’s development during a crucial stage of their early education.
Responsibilities
* Delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the EYFS framework
* Supporting children’s learning through a balance of adult-led and play-based activities
* Observing and assessing pupils’ progress in line with EYFS expectations
* Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
* Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies
* Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and colleagues
* Supporting children’s personal, social, and emotional development
* Communicating effectively with parents and carers where required
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Proven experience teaching within Early Years, ideally in Reception
* A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and assessment
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* A proactive, organised, and professional approach
* The ability to deliver high-quality lessons that engage and support all learners
