Overview

Help us Shape the Future of CAMHS

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Resourcing Team and support the Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Transformation Programme. As an outstanding-rated Trust, we are committed to strengthening recruitment and people practices, embedding our vision and values with compassion, diversity and inclusion at the heart of everything we do. Based within our People and Culture Directorate, you will directly support the CAMHS Transformation Programme. Children and Young People’s Mental Health Services in Dorset are entering a period of growth, with new investment enabling us to expand and enhance services. This is a key role in attracting and recruiting the right people to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children, young people and their families. This is a part-time role offering flexibility around hours and location; however, onsite presence and attendance at ad hoc events will be required. This is a fantastic opportunity to build skills, contribute to new initiatives and grow professionally within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.

To develop and deliver innovative and inclusive resourcing strategies aligned to workforce demands and safe staffing requirements. To drive a proactive approach to recruitment, enable the Trust to respond to changing workforce demands. To support the Head of Recruitment and Resourcing in increasing the number of applicants, reduce vacancy rates, time and cost to hire through the development of innovative and inclusive resourcing strategies.

Applications from candidates that require visa sponsorship to work in the UK are unfortunately ineligible to apply for this position.

At Dorset HealthCare we’re on a mission to empower people to make the most of their lives through our outstanding, joined-up healthcare services. We’re a dynamic, forward-looking Trust, running 12 community hospitals, specialist inpatient facilities and a wide range of integrated community and mental health services for a population of almost 800,000 people. We do things differently here – it’s one of the reasons the CQC rated us ‘outstanding’ in 2019. It’s also why 95% of patients across our services say they have a good or very good experience of our services and 89% of staff feel they can really make a difference. Our 7,000-strong workforce is at the heart of what we do and our success is a testament to our brilliant people. We’re an inclusive workplace, where everyone is welcome, everyone can be authentic, and we are all encouraged to be the best version of ourselves.

Working with us you’ll be part of a strong team, challenge yourself, build a career, and teach us what we don’t know. You’ll be working towards our vision to be better every day through excellence, compassion and expertise in all we do.
