The RoleThe Strategic buyer role is a full time, permanent position offering flexible and hybrid working.Day to day duties include:
* Leading global sourcing strategies for assigned commodities
* Supplier selection, contract negotiation and long term agreement management
* Supporting New Product Introduction from concept through to launch
* Driving cost, quality, service and supply improvements across a global supply base
* Collaborating with international suppliers
* Travelling to meet with suppliers to build long lasting relationships

* Proven experience in a Strategic procurement role within engineering or manufacturing
* Strong commercial negotiation skills and confidence analysing cost, pricing and supplier data
* Experience working with international suppliers or multi site manufacturing
* A proactive, motivated mindset
* Ambition to progress quickly in a structured, supportive environment
* Willingness to travel internationally to meet with suppliers
