About the Role
Due to growth, we are looking for Lining Engineers to join our growing teams in the Weston area! At Ipsum, our vision is to be the leading customer service‑focused provider of specialist utility and infrastructure solutions, operating on both public and private networks.
As a Lining Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving drainage systems, ensuring the efficient operation of essential services for our communities. This is a full‑time permanent role with the opportunity to grow and develop your career.
Responsibilities
* Carrying out patching work on drainage systems using RSM Sewertronics UV system.
* Assessing pipe conditions and analyzing results to determine appropriate repair methods.
* Producing high‑quality reports detailing work carried out and recommendations.
* Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.
* Liaising with clients and internal teams to coordinate work schedules and requirements.
* Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used.
* Performing routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment.
Qualifications
This role is ideal for someone with Utilities or Drainage experience, a full UK driving licence, and self‑motivation. Certifications in high‑pressure jetting and confined space entry, prior experience working on a patching rig, using a lining kit and cutting equipment are desirable. NRSWA Streetworks is required for the role, along with related cards such as Water Hygiene and Banksperson training. Candidates eager to learn will also be considered.
