As a Mechanical CAD Engineer, you will be responsible for updating and correcting 3D CAD models and producing accurate manufacturing drawings for steel fabrications used in industrial equipment. Salary Guideline: £40,000£42,000 plus pension, and early finish on Fridays. Key Responsibilities Update and correct 3D CAD models for steel welded fabrications Produce and amend flat patterns and manufacturing drawings for welding fabrication processes Ensure accuracy and compliance with design standards and production requirements Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve design issues Skills & Experience Required Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar Experience with steel fabrication design and understanding of welding/fabrication processes Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Strong attention to detail Why Join Us?
