Are you a qualified SENDCo with relevant experience in a Secondary SEND setting, looking for your next interim/temp-to-perm role?
An independent specialist day school in Croydon is seeking a qualified and experienced SENDCo to lead on SEND provision for pupils aged 11–16 with complex SEMH, SEND, and ASC needs.
This is a fixed-term position for the upcoming academic term, with the potential for a longer-term or permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
Key Requirements:
* Recognised SENDCo qualification (mandatory)
* Minimum 2 years’ experience as a SENDCo in a secondary SEND setting
* Strong working knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
* Experience working with EHCPs, external agencies, and complex needs
* Committed to inclusive, trauma-informed practice
Role Overview:
* Lead and manage SEND strategy and compliance across the school
* Coordinate tailored learning and interventions
* Monitor progress and drive positive outcomes
* Work closely with staff, parents, and external professionals

This is a well-established school, part of a large care and education group, who are looking for an interim SENDCo to carry their schools provision across the next term. You will be well-supported by a friendly team of SLT, managing SEND needs, EHCP implementation and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the SEND provision in the school runs smoothly and safely.
