Location: Braemar, Scotland Department: Events Reports to: Events Manager The Fife Arms is seeking a highly organised and enthusiastic Events & Sales Coordinator to support the delivery of exceptional events and guest experiences. From private dining to major annual celebrations such as Burns Weekend, the Glorious 12th, and Christmas & Hogmanay, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our events run seamlessly while building strong relationships and driving revenue. Key Responsibilities Event Planning & Delivery Manage group bookings and private dining events from enquiry to post‑event follow‑up. Prepare event documentation including proposals, contracts, and floor plans. Lead site inspections for guests, travel partners, and press. Attend key meetings to ensure all teams are aligned and fully briefed. Support the FOH team and General Manager during live events. Maintain accurate data across event systems and ensure financial reconciliation. Sales & Relationship Management Manage the sales pipeline to maximise conversions and diary utilisation. Build relationships to encourage repeat business and identify new opportunities. Maintain a strong client database and support targeted outreach. Assist with sales initiatives and attend promotional events when required. Standards & Development Uphold high operational standards by following all SOPs and maintaining data accuracy. Stay updated on event trends and contribute ideas for new offerings. Promote positive teamwork and open communication. Health & Safety Comply with all H&S procedures including fire safety, COSHH, and Food Alert systems. Ensure adherence to statutory and company requirements. What We’re Looking For Excellent communicator with strong written and spoken English (additional languages beneficial). Highly organised, detail‑focused, and able to multitask under pressure. Confident with guests both in person and over the phone. Strong internal communication skills (MS Teams, Outlook, phone).
