The role
We are working with a well-established 11–18 secondary school in Northumberland to recruit a Modern Foreign Languages Teacher for supply and long-term opportunities. The role is open to specialists in French, Spanish, German, or a combination, with KS5 teaching available depending on experience and specialism.
The MFL department is well supported and values inclusive, engaging language teaching that builds confidence and cultural awareness.

Responsibilities
8. Teach MFL across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities available)
9. Deliver engaging, communicative language lessons
10. Support pupils of mixed abilities to make progress
11. Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and engagement
12. Work collaboratively with the MFL department and wider staff team
The ideal candidate
13. QTS, QTLS, or equivalent UK teaching experience
14. Specialism in French, Spanish, German, or similar
15. Confident classroom management skills
16. Flexible, professional, and reliable
17. Open to supply, long-term, or permanent roles
