IPS have partnered alongside a highly innovative (Re)Insurer in their search for an ambitious Catastrophe analyst to join the team focusing across the business’ reinsurance portfolios.
Working in a data-driven environment utilising advanced analytics, the successful candidate will play a vital role in providing key modelling and analytical insights, helping to enhance and implement new views of risk for the business. You will have the chance to work closely alongside Underwriting and Research teams, as well as direct involvement in the development of new tools and processes, in an organisation that invests heavily in the latest technology. Working under the guidance of industry experts, this opportunity is well aligned to analysts who are keen to immerse themselves in an agile and dynamic environment.
To be considered for this opportunity:
* Experience using a recognised vendor model (AIR, RMS, or similar)
* Technical proficiency using tools such as SQL, Python, R is highly advantageous but not required.
