About This Role
Based within the Client Accounts Team of our Accounts Department, this role involves processing all client property payments and maintaining timely bank reconciliations for the trust bank accounts. The role also includes supporting the Accounts Department by assisting with telephone inquiries related to Direct Debits and payment queries, carrying out general administrative functions, and ensuring a professional and timely response to maintain high levels of customer service.
Main Duties And Objectives
1. Daily cash allocation of forms such as receipts, including BACS, Standing Orders, Direct Debits, Card Payments, Portal Payments, and Cheques, posting to the management system and to specific clients and properties across different brands.
2. Managing accounts receivable processes to ensure correct and timely cash allocations, including clearing suspense accounts.
3. Processing client Direct Debit instructions, including requests, cancellations, amendments, and payment plans, as well as adjustments for unpaid receipts.
4. Processing payments and refunds as requested, with accurate system inputs.
5. Handling Direct Debit collections.
6. Dealing with internal and external queries via email and telephone.
7. Performing other ad-hoc duties as required.
