We're looking for a Plumbing Maintenance Engineer to join our EKFB team based in Rushden.
Location: Rushden, Northamptonshire - remote working not applicable due to the mobile nature of the role, with travel across EKFB sites required.
Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Plumbing Maintenance Engineer, you'll support the EKFB team in maintaining and repairing plumbing systems across operational infrastructure and commercial environments.
Your daily tasks will include:
* Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances
* Diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues across commercial sites
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
* Participating in an on-call rota for out-of-hours emergency repairs
* Delivering excellent customer service and providing timely, efficient solutions
* Carrying out weekly and monthly preventative maintenance, such as fire alarm testing, emergency light testing, and building fabric maintenance.
What are we looking for?
This role of Plumbing Maintenance Engineer is ideal if:
* You hold a valid UK driving license
* You are able to pass (or already hold) an enhanced DBS check due to work on sensitive or secure sites
* Plumbing qualifications such as Level 2/3 NVQ and G3 ticket
