Overview
Sexual Health Dumfries and Galloway (D&G) is an innovative and expanding service within NHS D&G. We are looking to recruit an experienced sexual health nurse to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
The post holder will manage clients within the department in all aspects of sexual health, including contraception, sexually transmitted infections and partner notification.
Senior clinical staff will provide support as required.
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants must be:
* Registered General Nurse or Midwife
* Possess a Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health Care
* Have experience working in a sexual health setting
* Ideally hold a NMP qualification or be willing to acquire it

* High motivation towards continuing professional development
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Flexibility for working hours
Working Hours and Job Share
The role may be offered on a job share basis. More than one candidate may be appointed to cover all hours. Applicants can apply for between 7.5 and 30 hours per week; please specify your preferred hours in your application.
