Job Description
We are seeking an experienced AV & Workplace Technology Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of workplace technology projects. The role involves managing end-to-end implementation of Audio-Visual (AV) systems, LED display solutions, network infrastructure, and related workplace technologies—including conference rooms, digital signage, and unified communications—ensuring seamless integration with construction activities and stakeholder requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution
* Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for AV and workplace technology initiatives.
* Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
Technical Oversight
* Manage design and installation of raceways, raised floors, hub rooms, and structured cabling.
* Oversee power sizing and electrical requirements for technology systems.
* Ensure network and IT infrastructure readiness for AV deployments.
* Implement access control and security systems.
* Lead integration and commissioning of AV and collaboration technologies (e.g., Teams Rooms, digital signage).
* Develop and document technical SOW for AV integrators and ensure compliance with corporate AV standards.
* Oversee delivery, testing, commissioning, and final sign‑off of AV/UC hardware and software.
* Prepare user guides and provide training/handover to Help Desk and Day‑2 support teams.
Governance & Compliance
* Collaborate with Design Authority and Cybersecurity teams to obtain approvals.
* Ensure compliance with corporate standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
Budget & Resource Management
* Track project costs, manage budgets, and optimize resource allocation.
* Prepare financial reports and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
Scheduling & Dependencies
* Identify interdependencies between technology and construction activities.
* Maintain project schedules and proactively resolve conflicts.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
* Engage with internal stakeholders to capture requirements and provide status updates.
* Manage vendor relationships and ensure contractual compliance.
Reporting & Documentation
* Provide regular management reports on project progress, risks, and deliverables.
* Maintain accurate documentation for all project phases.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, Project Management, or related field.
* Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in managing large-scale, complex projects, preferably in commercial real estate/workplace projects or AV/IT deployments.
* Proven experience in delivering projects involving:
o Raceway and cable management systems
o Raised floor and hub room design
o Power sizing and electrical coordination
o Network and Wi‑Fi infrastructure
o AV systems integration (Crestron, Shure, Biamp, Jabra, Sennheiser)
o Collaboration platforms (Microsoft Teams Rooms)
o LED display solutions
o Access control and security systems
* In-depth knowledge of current and emerging AV technologies (Zoom, Teams, Crestron, Extron).
* Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in budget management and project scheduling tools.

* PMP or PRINCE2
* CTS (Certified Technology Specialist)
* ITIL Foundation
* CCNA/CWNA
* CISM/CISSP
