Role Overview
As a Low Code Proposition Lead, you’ll shape and lead KPMG’s technology modernisation initiatives powered by low-code platforms and AI-driven capabilities. The role is split between business development (50%) for leading go-to-market strategies and project delivery (50%) for ensuring client success in solution delivery. With deep expertise in Appian and at least one other low-code platform (preferably OutSystems), you’ll guide clients and internal teams through digital transformation journeys, championing AI-powered automation and modern platform capabilities.
Responsabilities:
1. Deliver solutions which meet KPMG’s quality framework, whilst leveraging Appian best practises
2. Identify, develop and land sales and project opportunities with clients, both new and existing, to deliver our propositions
3. Be responsible for developing our Architecture patterns and Best Practices
4. Have responsibility for maintaining our platforms and their integrations with other services / platforms
5. Ensure our platforms remain compliant with required standards of Information and Data Security
6. Proposing technical and creative business solutions
7. Working in a DevOps model to support in flight solutions, whilst innovating on new opportunities
8. Help identify new go to market opportunities for the Process & Automation Team
9. Deliver showcases to clients and internal stakeholders, to help establish wider awareness of Process & Automation capabilities
10. Designing and delivering high quality technical Proof of Concepts for prospective customers
11. To have an up to date view of the roadmap of features for the technologies we use, and be able to articulate them
Leadership & Management:
12. As a Senior Manager you will be responsible for leading client delivery teams and establishing KPMG as a trusted partner for Appian solutions. You will also mentor junior leaders and consultants on the delivery and commercialisation of low-code solutions

Essential experience
Technical skills
15. Appian Certified Lead Developer
16. Minimum 5-7 years experience in designing Appian Solutions
17. Minimum 15+ years of experience in tech consulting, product delivery and business development
18. Experience of Appian design patterns and best practises
19. Strong knowledge of Appian objects: interfaces, process models, rules, CDT, records, reports, sites, integrations, and security
20. Integration expertise with RESTful APIs and web services
21. Strong understanding of Appian deployment processes, DevOps pipelines (e.g., Jenkins), and version control (e.g., Git)
22. Experience in performance tuning and scalability planning for enterprise Appian applications
23. Ability to design Appian applications using AI Skills
24. Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Appian Cloud
25. Experience with relational and non-relational databases
Non-technical skills
26. Proven track record of selling, shaping and delivering low-code solutions (Appian, OutSystems, Microsoft Power Platform, or similar)
27. Extensive experience working within Agile methodologies and frameworks
28. Experience leading client engagements across full project lifecycles from pitch to delivery
29. Demonstrated ability to co-create client propositions and translate them into scalable technical solutions
30. Working knowledge of agentic AI concepts and their use in intelligent process automation
31. Strong commercial mindset and experience in closing deals, defining pricing models, and supporting account growth
32. Strategic thinking, team leadership, and comfort interacting at CxO level
33. Excellent written and verbal communication with a focus on simplifying complex ideas for business audiences
Nice to have experience
34. Hands-on familiarity with AI tools
35. Prior experience with SaaS product lifecycle, including roadmap ownership or product improvement
36. Exposure to regulated sectors (e.g. banking, healthcare, public sector)
37. Insight into platform alliances, vendor management or scaling delivery models via partnerships
38. Experience combining low-code and traditional development approaches in enterprise environments
