Production Planner and Sales Operations Planner – Kent
An exciting opportunity has been created due to company growth. My client, a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company, is looking for an experienced Production Planning and Sales Operations Planning Manager who will own and manage the site planning process to ensure consistent delivery of customer orders for drug products.
Responsibilities
* Master Production Scheduling and 3–24 months Sales & Operations Planning periods.
* Ensure data is robust and accurate to enable timely decisions.
* Own and manage the site inventory processes to maintain appropriate stock levels, and manage short‑dated, expired, aging and slow‑moving inventory.
* Work with key site suppliers.
* Implement process improvement projects.
* Develop and implement logistics strategy.
* Provide customer service.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven track record in managing planning processes in a manufacturing environment, ideally within a pharmaceutical or fast‑moving goods business.
* Pharmaceutical industry experience advantageous; strong working knowledge of manufacturing regulations, legislation, and cGMP compliance.
* Experience in a make‑to‑order strategy is highly desirable.
Hours & Compensation
Monday to Friday, 8:45 am – 4:45 pm (37.5 hours per week). 9‑month contract role based in Kent, potentially leading to extension or permanent placement depending on candidate and business performance. PAYE rate: £25.63 per hour.
