Job Description
Please note that this is a part-time, term-time position. Your salary will be prorated based on hours and weeks worked.
If you start during the school session, an adjustment will be made to reduce your initial pay, as you are not entitled to pay for holidays. After this adjustment, you will receive a 12th of your annual salary each month.
You will receive an email from our payroll department before your first pay, advising the deduction amount.
If you start on the first day of term, this adjustment will not apply to you.
Your duties will include ensuring the safe passage of school children across roads, including directing traffic at crossing areas.

This post is considered Regulated Work under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. You will need to join or update the PVG Scheme before a formal job offer. Further guidance will be provided in your conditional offer. If your salary exceeds £38,000 per annum, you will need to pay for the PVG application, deducted from your first paycheck.
