Description
In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, servicing, and modification of injection mould tooling. You'll work from base components using handheld tools and machinery, ensuring high-quality workmanship throughout. You will also maintain accurate records of all work completed and provide clear shift handover notes to support our night team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble, service, repair, and modify injection mould tools
Use hand tools and machinery safely and effectively
Maintain excellent standards of discipline, housekeeping, and workmanship
Accurately record all work completed
Produce clear, concise descriptions of issues or concerns for night shift teams
Support continuous improvement and maintain safe working practices
About You:
Previous experience as a Toolmaker or in a similar precision engineering role
Strong understanding of injection mould tooling
Able to read and interpret technical drawings
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Reliable, organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a team setting
Mechanical knowledge encompassing materials selection, tooling design principles, and manufacturing standards is highly desirable.
