Description This role is suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, people‑focused environment where no two days are the same. It is both challenging and deeply rewarding, making it ideal for individuals with strong customer service or community engagement experience who are seeking the stability of a full‑time role with meaningful impact. About the Role As an Employment Partner, your role is to support people with disability to prepare for, secure, and maintain meaningful employment with inclusive and supportive employers. You will receive a comprehensive induction and ongoing training to ensure you feel confident and capable in the role. In an average week, you will: Work collaboratively with jobseekers to understand their strengths, interests, motivations, and employment goals. Support jobseekers to build confidence and capability, including connecting them with training, development opportunities, or additional supports. Provide tailored post‑placement support to help jobseekers settle into employment and thrive in their roles. Build strong relationships with local employers, promoting inclusive employment practices and advocating for jobseekers. Proactively engage and partner with organisations to identify suitable roles and create pathways to employment. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all jobseeker information is completed and compliant — administrative tasks make up approximately 30% of the role. Skills And Experiences You will receive full training to help you develop the knowledge and skills needed to succeed as an Employment Partner. However, great Employment Partners often share the following qualities: They are engaging and people‑focused, genuinely interested in getting to know others and able to make jobseekers and employers feel comfortable. They are resilient — things don’t always go to plan, and when challenges arise, they can stay calm, adapt, and keep moving forward. They are confident meeting with employers and comfortable advocating for jobseekers and inclusive employment opportunities. They understand performance expectations — this role has targets that need to be met and ideally exceeded. They have strong administration skills, solid computer literacy, and excellent attention to detail. They are proactive and willing to work with local employers to identify or create job opportunities that may not have existed otherwise. They bring strong customer service skills and a positive, motivating attitude to help jobseekers stay engaged and committed to their employment goals.
