This is a full-time role well-suited to someone who is patient, proactive, and confident working closely with teachers to ensure every child can access learning.
Role Details
Hours: 8:30am–3:30pm
Start: Immediate or after notice
Pay: Competitive and dependent on experience
Daily Responsibilities
* Provide targeted support across KS1 or KS2, depending on school need
* Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils requiring additional SEN support
* Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and resource organisation
* Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation in the classroom
* Use strategies such as differentiated activities, visual aids, and routine reinforcement
* Maintain accurate notes on pupil progress and pass on key information to teaching staff
* Contribute to creating a calm, nurturing learning environment
