About the Role
The University of Warwick is seeking to appoint an Impact Development Officer to provide practitioner support for the development of research impact. This exciting new role will be part of a newly-expanded Research Impact team situated within the Research & Impact Services, the University’s central Research Office.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Research Impact Managers to support researchers with:
* Advice and guidance on all elements of research impact;
* The development of a strong pipeline of REF impact case studies;
* Provision of one-to-one guidance and group training; and
* The effective communication of impact through multiple channels;
* Support for initiatives that nurture a vibrant, supportive and inclusive impact culture, including peer mentoring networks and communities of practice.
About You
We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate candidates with a strong understanding of research impact in its widest context and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

About the Department
The department of Research & Impact Services supports the delivery of internationally leading research & impact at the University of Warwick. It includes support for research strategy, development, grants, contracts, ethics, governance, culture, impact, the REF, research systems & data, statutory returns, programme management, and responsibility for institutional programmes and partnerships such as the Interdisciplinary Research Spotlights, The Alan Turing Institute (ATI), City of Culture (CoC), and Eutopia. The department also delivers the secretariat function for nine formal University committees.
Office & Working Arrangements
Research & Impact Services has adopted hybrid working; candidates should therefore expect to be located on campus at least three days a week.
