This role offers an excellent opportunity for aspiring digital professionals to start their careers within the Cloud and Infrastructure Teams. Under the guidance of experienced Team Leads, you will engage in various infrastructure-related tasks, gaining practical experience in both cloud and on-premises environments. This will enhance your technical skills and support your personal and professional growth.

As an apprentice, you will follow a structured development plan designed to unlock your potential and develop your skills as an engineer. You will also pursue a BSc in Computing (Software Engineering) at the University of Wales Trinity St David's, Swansea campus through the Apprenticeship programme. The fully funded degree course is delivered on a day-release basis on Mondays during term time.

We seek individuals with a passion for technology, a strong desire to learn, and a motivation to contribute to managing NHS Wales's national infrastructure. If you are passionate about innovation and excellence, this role provides a platform to make a meaningful impact.

Your responsibilities will include acting as the primary contact for service users, providing administrative support to the Core Services teams within the Cloud and Infrastructure department, assisting operational teams with infrastructure services, and maintaining infrastructure systems proactively.

This position is fixed-term for 48 months.

Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW) is a national body within NHS Wales, providing digital and data services to support health and social care.
