Our client is a well-established manufacturer of conveyor and material handling equipment, supplying high-quality mechanical and electrical solutions to distribution and logistics operations across the UK and internationally.
Pay Rate:£13.00£14.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Working Hours:Day Shift, Monday to Friday
Monday to Thursday: 7:30am 4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am 12:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring systems in conveyor units and workshop equipment
* Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to execute installations accurately
* Utilise hand tools, power tools, and test equipment effectively to complete electrical tasks
* Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve potential issues
* Collaborate with mechanical and assembly teams to ensure seamless project execution
* Adhere to safety regulations, company procedures, and best practices at all times
* Document work completed and report any discrepancies or issues encountered
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an electrician, wiring technician, or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
* Competent using hand tools, power tools, and electrical test equipment
* Knowledge of electrical safety regulations and practices
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good level of spoken and written English
