At Applebough Education, we're looking for an ambitious Senior Resourcer / Account Manager to join our Head Office team in Halesowen and help drive the next phase of our exciting growth.
As a Government Commercial Agency (GCA) approved supplier, Applebough Education will be able to work directly with academies from September 2026 under the Department for Education's mandated framework arrangements. This places us in a strong position for growth and creates a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join us at a pivotal stage in our journey.
The Opportunity
This is more than a recruitment role.
It's an opportunity to build long-term partnerships, support schools and education professionals, and become a key part of a business that is focused on quality, integrity, and exceptional service.
You'll be responsible for developing client relationships, sourcing outstanding candidates, and delivering a first-class recruitment experience from start to finish.
Your Responsibilities
* Managing and developing existing client accounts
* Building strong relationships with schools, academies, and education professionals
* Recruiting and resourcing high-quality candidates for education settings
* Delivering exceptional customer service to clients, candidates, and stakeholders
* Managing recruitment campaigns and staffing requirements
* Supporting compliance and candidate onboarding processes
* Working closely with the leadership team to support company growth
* Maintaining high standards of professionalism, communication, and organisation
* Acting as a trusted recruitment partner to both clients and candidates
About You
We're looking for someone who:
* Has recruitment experience (education recruitment experience is highly desirable)
* Loves speaking to people and building genuine relationships
* Understands the importance of excellent customer service
* Is organised, proactive, and motivated to succeed
* Takes pride in delivering outstanding results
* Can work independently and as part of a team
* Has a positive, solutions-focused attitude
* Shares our ambition to build a trusted and respected education recruitment business
What We Offer
* Competitive basic salary of £28,000
* Uncapped commission structure with earning potential of up to 20% on top of your basic salary
* Working hours of 7:30am – 4:30pm during term time
* Reduced school holiday hours of 9:00am – 3:00pm
* Up to 35 days annual leave plus bank holidays
