Overview

Director, Global Mobility – UK & Europe. Reporting to Senior Director, Global Mobility. This is a strategic business partnering role within the Global Mobility (GM) function, responsible for leading the execution of talent mobility strategies aligned with UK & Europe regional business objectives. Acting as the single point of contact for Business and HR leaders, the Business Partner provides expert guidance on mobility matters and leads key initiatives to support workforce agility and global talent deployment. The Business Partner collaborates cross-functionally with Global Mobility, Total Rewards, Expatriate Tax, and regional HR teams to ensure a seamless and compliant mobility experience. This role also provides leadership and direction to a Global Mobility Advisor supporting the region, ensuring alignment, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities

* Lead the delivery of mobility strategies that align with UK & Europe regional talent plans and business objectives. Serve as the single point of contact for HR, Finance, and business leaders, providing expert guidance on mobility matters including assignments, permanent transfers, and executive-level cases. Develop frameworks for sustainable and cost-effective mobility solutions that support business performance.
* Represent Global Mobility on regional HR leadership teams; drive change initiatives that enhance workforce agility and employee experience. Ensure proactive, high-quality communication and follow-through; build trust through consistent delivery and results.
* Monitor regulatory developments to ensure compliance with AtkinsRéalis’ global mobility frameworks; oversee regional vendors to ensure service excellence and responsiveness to business and assignee needs.
* Engage in active cross-functional networking to stay attuned to market trends and stakeholder perspectives; identify opportunities to deliver mobility solutions that drive organizational performance.


Technical Skills

* Global Mobility expertise: Proven ability to deliver effective mobility solutions in collaboration with Regional teams.
* Commercial acumen: Understanding and applying commercial principles to mobility strategies, aligned with business objectives.
* Project & Change Management: Ability to lead projects and drive change within global mobility frameworks.
* Digital savviness: Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms to enhance mobility processes and solutions.
* Diagnostic & Analytical: Strong analytical skills to diagnose mobility needs and develop effective strategies.
* Vendor management: Ability to manage relationships with regional external vendors to ensure cost-effective, high-quality service delivery.

* Communication & influence: Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Collaboration: Effective cross-functional collaboration with HR, business units, and external partners.
