Overview

Psychology Graduate – SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Lewisham
Start Date: Immediate

This is more than a job—it’s a chance to use your psychology skills to help pupils grow, learn, and thrive.


Responsibilities

* Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, such as autism, ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges
* Working 1:1 or in small groups, helping pupils engage with lessons and develop confidence
* Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and SENCOs to create safe, structured learning spaces
* Using your psychology knowledge to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour


Qualifications

* A recent Psychology graduate (or related field) with a genuine interest in education and child development
* Someone calm, resilient, and enthusiastic about working in a special needs setting
* Experience with SEND (through study, volunteering, or work)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
