We are seeking a committed Specialty Doctor with experience in HIV and Genitourinary Medicine (GUM) to join our integrated Sexual Health team across the East of England for 12 months to cover parental leave, 6 PAs per week (24 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities
* Provide specialist HIV and GUM care, including complex STI management and follow‑up
* Undertake comprehensive sexual health assessments, testing and treatment
* Deliver HIV testing, counselling and results in a sensitive, non‑judgemental manner
* Contribute to prevention strategies including PrEP, vaccination and health promotion
* Support nurse‑led services and offer expert clinical advice to colleagues
* Participate in teaching, audit and continuous service improvement
* Work flexibly, independently and as part of the team
* Provide medical clinical service delivery within the locality
* Provide medical support and advice to nurse‑led clinics
* Develop skills in line with the changing needs of the service
* Take part in audit, research and training as appropriate
Essential Qualifications
* Full GMC registration
* Experience in HIV and GUM/Sexual Health
* Knowledge of BASHH guidelines and evidence‑based practice
* Excellent communication and patient‑centred approach
