Job Description
Care Assistant at Dean Wood Care Home.
Key Responsibilities
* Support residents in a wide range of areas, from companionship to personal care.
* Observe and manage residents’ behaviour with care and document and report any changes in line with required legislation.
* Support residents' nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
* Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
* Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory and legal requirements.
What We're Looking For
* Motivation, positivity, and great interpersonal skills.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Desirable: Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification.
