Associate / Senior Associate – Serious Injury
A leading regional law firm is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate (Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive) to join its highly regarded Serious Injury team based in Southampton.

The Role
You will work as part of a dedicated Serious Injury team handling complex and catastrophic injury matters, including:
* Adult and child brain injury
* Complex orthopaedic injuries, including amputations
* Fatal accident claims and inquests
* Multi-million‑pound, high‑value claims
Unlike traditional models, matters are managed within small partner‑led teams rather than being siloed to individual fee earners. This structure provides exposure to high‑quality work, strong mentoring and genuine opportunities for professional development.
The team adopts a holistic approach, supporting clients not only with financial recovery but also with their long‑term care, medical and rehabilitation needs.
About You
* Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
* Minimum 4 years’ experience within personal injury (catastrophic injury experience highly desirable)
* Experience supporting complex, high‑value claims
* Calm under pressure with strong organisational skills
* Empathetic and confident when working with vulnerable clients and families
* Collaborative, proactive and committed to delivering exceptional client care
