What You’ll Be Doing
 * Lead the mechanical design of automated and manual loading systems from concept through to production
 * Oversee detailed design, ensuring manufacturability, quality, and compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, and CE standards
 * Mentor and guide junior design engineers, embedding best practices and promoting a culture of excellence
 * Standardise and optimise designs through continuous improvement and value engineering
 * Provide technical support and analysis for root cause investigations and design improvements
 * Collaborate with cross‑functional teams globally to align projects with company strategy
 * Support the implementation of DriveWorks and structured design systems
What You’ll Bring
 * Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
 * Proven experience in mechanical design, ideally within manufacturing, automation, or industrial machinery
 * Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
 * Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a creative, solutions-focused approach
 * Excellent communication and leadership skills to mentor and influence others
 * Commitment to environmental and safety standards
 * Desirable: Experience with DriveWorks or similar design automation tools
Working arrangements
 * Location: Liverpool (onsite collaboration expected)
 * Hours: Full‑time, permanent role
