Job Description
Carnival UK is seeking a Delivery Manager to lead the development and implementation of innovative technology solutions that enhance our onboard and shoreside guest experiences. This role is pivotal in delivering complex, high-impact products across areas such as food and beverage systems, point-of-sale platforms, and allergen information management.
We’re hiring for a Technology Product Manager, but we’re advertising it as a Delivery Manager because we want to speak directly to people who are passionate about making things happen.
This role is all about end-to-end ownership: from shaping product direction to ensuring smooth delivery with cross-functional teams. You’ll be the person who connects the dots between user needs, business goals, and technical execution—leading delivery while influencing product strategy.
Why the Title?
We’ve found that “Delivery Manager” better reflects the hands-on, outcome-focused nature of this role. If you’ve worked in agile environments, led squads, or driven product delivery in fast-paced settings, you’ll likely thrive here—even if your current title is Product Manager, Delivery Manager, or something else entirely.
This Role is for You If You:
* Have a product mindset but love being close to delivery.
* Enjoy working with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to bring ideas to life.
* Are comfortable owning both the “what” and the “how.”
As we modernise our legacy systems, this role will focus on orchestrating the delivery of integrated, scalable, and resilient technology solutions that support physical infrastructure and operational excellence across our fleet and shoreside operations.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-End Product Leadership: Lead the full lifecycle of technology products across domains such as F&B, POS, and allergens—from ideation and development through to implementation, optimisation, and retirement.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drive alignment and execution across engineering, operations, commercial, and shipboard teams, ensuring delivery meets business needs and guest expectations.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product outcomes are aligned with strategic goals and operational realities.
* Infrastructure Awareness: Oversee delivery of solutions that may involve physical infrastructure, ensuring integration with legacy systems and alignment with modernisation efforts.
* Team Leadership: Mentor and lead cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
* Continuous Improvement: Use data, feedback, and performance metrics to refine delivery processes and enhance service quality.
* Travel: Occasional international travel to ships and ports, including some evening and weekend work.
Positioned within our internal structure from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President), this role is classified as a CUK06, offered as a full-time position, on a permanent basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience leading cross-functional teams through end-to-end product lifecycles in a matrixed environment.
* Strong track record of delivering complex technology solutions—ideally involving both digital and physical infrastructure.
* Experience working across multiple service domains, with an understanding of operational and guest-facing technologies.
* Agile delivery expertise with relevant certifications and a pragmatic approach to implementation.
* Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
About You: A Catalyst for Change
We believe that diversity enriches our team. We're interested in candidates who:
* Bring fresh ideas and different perspectives
* Have a background in customer-centric technologies
